Grace Chang joined the Young Lives team in January 2016 as a quantitative research assistant. She is also part of the Young Lives data visualization team, specifically producing those on skills and work. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Economics and MSc in Economics from the University of Warwick, where her dissertation looked into the impact of immigration on native college students’ wages and jobs.
Prior to Young Lives, Grace worked as a research assistant in Khazanah Research Institute in Malaysia, under the Inequality of Wealth, Income and Opportunities track where she was mainly responsible for developing questionnaires, conducting fieldwork and data analysis.
Grace's research interests are in development economics, children's work and their transition into the labour market.
