Brief biography

Angela Little is Professor Emerita and was Professor of Education and International Development for 24 years at the Institute of Education, University of London. Between 2006 and 2011, she directed the work of the IoE team in the Consortium for Research on Educational Access and Transitions in Education (CREATE). She is an Academician of the Academy of Social Sciences of the UK, and has served as the President of the British Association of International and Comparative Education (BAICE), as co-Director of the International Centre for Research on Assessment at the IoE, and as Commissioner for the Commonwealth Scholarships Commission.
