Social Mobility Summit 2016: Sharing knowledge and experiences for stronger impact
This first International Summit on Social Mobility will look at the following key themes;
What we have learnt from social mobility research; recent findings in social mobility; social mobility in The Americas; and comparative research and policy implications.
The objective of the conference is to bring together some of the main experts and practitioners on social mobility to facilitate a board, interdisciplinary dialogue. The first day will be devoted to an academic discussion of social mobility. On the second day representatives from international organisations, think-tanks and governments will discuss public policies and actions that promote social mobility around the world.
Santiago Cueto Country Director of Young Lives Perú will be presenting findings in the session on civil society experiences.
