New book on child marriage published today
Marriage and parenthood

'Dreaming of a Better Life: Child Marriage Through Adolescent Eyes', published today by Young Lives and Canada's International Development Research Centre (IDRC), is an edited collection of expert views that offer fresh insights about what life is like for adolescents who are married and evidence to support work to end child marriage.

Presented in a variety of eye-catching and accessible formats including photo stories, head to head interviews, traditional chapters and infographics, the book showcases evidence from research and interventions, funded by IDRC, which investigate different aspects of child marriage.  The volume spans rural and urban settings across Bangladesh, Cote d'Ivoire, India, Mali, Niger, Pakistan, Peru, Senegal, Togo and Zambia.   

'Dreaming of a Better Life' is co-edited by Gina Crivello (Young LIves) and Gillian Mann (Child Frontiers) and is an Open Access publication, available in both English and French here.
