We have an exciting new opportunity for a Finance and Programme Administrator Officer to join the Young Lives team. You will play a key role in delivering financial management and reporting and providing administrative support across Young Lives Projects. Working collaboratively with the Young Lives Director and Programme Manager, as well as researchers and policy staff in both Oxford and the four Young Lives study countries.
You must have the ability and enthusiasm to proactively manage and prioritise a varied and busy workload and work to deadlines. You will need proven relevant financial management and administration experience; outstanding organisational skills; experience of working with budgets and financial reporting, including excellent Excel skills; and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
This is a part-time (40% FTE) fixed-term position until 31 March 2020. Ideally, the successful candidate will start in early March 2019. Potential to increase the hours worked and/or extend the fixed-term contract will be dependent on Young Lives securing additional funding.
