Alessandra is a PhD candidate in economics at Lancaster University. She has previously worked for Young Lives as a Research Consultant during the summer of 2023 and 2022. Additionally, she has worked from 2017 to 2020 as a Research Assistant with the Young Lives Peru team at GRADE in Lima, Peru.

Her academic journey includes an MSc in Economics from Lancaster University as part of her integrated PhD program and an MA in Economics from Universidad de Piura, Peru.

Alessandra's focal point lies in investigating the enduring consequences of adverse life conditions, notably violent experiences, on human capital accumulation within developing contexts.
