Young Lives India is a research consultancy which specialises in monitoring and evaluation, capacity building, research and evidence-based policy advocacy related to children, adolescents, and youth.
Their headquarter is located in New Delhi (India) with a pan-India presence and has on-going projects in various States and Union Territories including Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Gujarat, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Telangana, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal. YL has expanded its geographical spread to South Asia – in specific, Nepal, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Bhutan and Bangladesh and has over the past four years undertaken both capacity building as well as monitoring and evaluations in these countries.
YL India works very closely with international organisations including United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) Head Quarters, UNICEF India, UNICEF Regional Office for South Asia (ROSA), FCDO, FCDO South Asia Research Hub, World Bank, Children Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF) and the Government of India (including Ministry of Education, Ministry of Women & Child Development, National and State Commissions for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) and State Governments).
