Georgina Fensom

Biography

Georgina joined the Young Lives team in Oxford in 2021 as senior survey and data manager, and completed the CAPI preparation and data collection for calls 3 to 5 of the 2020 phone surveys. She has since left the core team in Oxford and taken some time out to do some travelling, but she continues to support the project as a consultant.

Prior to joining Young Lives, Georgina gained a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Portsmouth in 2012, and a MSc in Biometry from the University of Reading in 2014. She then spent six years working as a statistician and data manager for the Cancer Epidemiology Unit, in the Nuffield Department of Health for the University of Oxford. In this work she specialized in the aetiology of prostate cancer.
