Abstract:

This study evaluates determinants for home, health centre and hospital birth separately, using Young LIves data from Vietnam. The paper explores the sociodemographic and pregnancy-related determinants of birth-setting in Vietnam for vaginal birth through random sampling across four purposively selected regions: Northern Uplands, Red River Delta, Central Coast and Mekong Delta.
